I know that the hardest thing to do is to take full responsibility for yourself and your actions but WHEN YOU DO, YOU LIVE TRUE.
NOT ONLY TRUE TO OTHERS BUT TRUE TO YOURSELF.
In 2010, I stood at my bathroom mirror and didn't recognize the girl in the reflection. I had gained a lot of weight, I just declared bankruptcy and lost my car, I was working a soul-sucking job and I didn't want to be here anymore.
But then there was a moment I had with myself that I realized THIS ALL CAME FROM MY CHOICES. And in that moment, while it wasn't easy to face my Self, a door of freedom opened.
I knew if I created this in my life, I could create the opposite.
It was from this moment of choosing to TAKE OWNERSHIP of why I stood where I stood in this very moment...unhappy and so completely out of sync with who I wanted to be and the life I wanted to live...that I decided to take responsibility and from there, my whole life changed.
YOUR POWER comes from taking ownership of yourself. Your actions. Your choices. Your thoughts.
Don't run away from your truth just because it's hard to face...face yourself with courage, look yourself in the eyes, and be honest with yourself. All relationships thrive from a foundation of honesty and integrity.
Especially the one with yourself.
